The Trip

The Trip

Experience the best of Japan on our Niseko Powder Week group trip in 2018, hosted by Hokkaido local, Kenji Matsuzawa.

Based on the north island of Hokkaido, you'll explore Japan's world-renowned and best resort, Niseko. Running from 25 February to 5 March, when you can expect excellent conditions and quiet slopes, the trip includes seven nights at Always Niseko (B&B), six day Niseko All Mountain Lift Pass, two days professional guiding, a group dinner in town and return flights and transfers. Our representative in Japan, Kenji, will be on hand throughout to share some of his favourite secret powder stashes, local bars and relaxing onsens.

The trip is aimed at intermediate and above skiers and snowboarders, with powder experience required to take part in the guiding. For a taste of what to expect, take a look at Kenji's Hokkaido highlights from last season:

We expect this trip to sell out quickly. Call us on 01273 224067 or email [email protected] to secure your place.

Niseko

Niseko

Japan’s largest and best-known ski resort, the skiing in Niseko is exceptional. With an average of 14 metres of light, dry snow falling each season (most of which arrives in January through to mid-March), you can look forward to powder-filled, ungroomed bowls and world-class tree runs (Strawberry and Blueberry Fields in Hanazono each beg a visit), while the Niseko Gates lead to unpatrolled terrain that’s best explored with a guide.

The ski terrain covers the four interlinked areas of Niseko Village, Hirafu, Annupuri and Hanazono and, in addition to the perfect powder, there are groomed runs for every level, as well as night skiing until 9pm. It doesn't get much better than a ski holiday here!
