USA Ski Holidays
Summary
Home to champagne powder, dazzling sunshine and immaculately groomed pistes, America’s ski conditions are phenomenal.
From east to west, snow falls in abundance across the US. Colorado is famous for its champagne powder, Utah sees up to 12 metres each season, and the quality of the piste grooming is outstanding. Add to this the quiet slopes, tree-lined runs and abundant sunshine, and it’s no wonder so many British skiers flock to America each year.
There’s a fantastic amount of diversity here, with scarily steep couloirs in the western states, as well as gentler terrain for families and first timers in the east. Wild west ski towns like Jackson Hole and Steamboat are another highlight, and its easy to include stopovers in cities like New York, San Francisco or Las Vegas. No matter where you go, America’s famous customer service, friendly attitude and jaw-dropping scenery come as standard.
With so many world-class resorts it can be hard to choose just one. Luckily, they’re often found in clusters so you can experience several ski areas with a ski safari. We only feature the very best US resorts and, having skied in them all, we can advise on the ideal locations for your ability, and tell you exactly what to expect.
Every holiday is tailor-made, just for you.

USA Ski Resorts
Most US ski areas are in the west. Here, you’ll find Colorado’s champagne powder in resorts like Vail, Aspen and Steamboat, and Utah’s huge snowfalls in places like Park City and Alta. California’s sunny slopes are further west and, to the north, Jackson Hole (Wyoming) is famous for its steep couloirs and cowboy vibe. Over on the east coast, New England’s slopes are far mellower and, with shorter flights from the UK, are great for easy breaks.
Immaculately groomed slopes, challenging chutes and unrivalled levels of service - for luxury ski trips, you can’t beat Beaver Creek.
