What is a Freedom Treks cycling holiday like?
If you’re not sure what a cycling holiday entails, there’s a huge amount of variety across our 160 tours.
You can opt for self-guided, where you cycle at your own pace following either a navigation app with points of interest or route notes. Or guided, where you cycle as a group with a knowledgeable, English-speaking local guide.
Then you have a choice of accommodation options:
Hotel & Bike - cycle from hotel to hotel each day, travelling light with secure luggage transfers included as standard. From châteaux and manor houses to small, charming family-run hotels and good quality bed & breakfasts, there is something for every taste.
Boat & Bike - a unique way to explore; cycle during the day and then relax, dine and sleep on board your ‘floating hotel’ at night. Hugely popular with our customers, you can experience some of the world’s best rivers and coastlines from a new perspective.
Tours are available in 30+ countries across Europe and Asia, with popular destinations including Austria, Italy, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands and Croatia.
If you’re not a regular cyclist, you’ll be pleased to hear that e-bikes are available to hire on almost all tours for a helping hand on longer days and steeper climbs.
