Steep couloirs, challenging groomers and breath-taking scenery - Jackson Hole is world-famous for good reason.

High in the Teton Mountains, this legendary ski area has scenic slopes and some of North America’s steepest inbound chutes, all well-linked by an impressive modern lift system.

For advanced skiers, the iconic tram whisks you up Rendezvous Mountain, where the challenging terrain includes the famous Corbet's Couloir. For serious powder days, neighbouring Grand Targhee is a must.

Beneath the slopes is the accommodation hub of Teton Village, which has a few restaurants and bars. For a bit more life, the authentic cowboy town of Jackson is a 20-minute shuttle away. Here, we usually gravitate towards the historic Silver Dollar après bar in The Wort Hotel, or the Cowboy Bar for live bands. You’ll also find day spas to ease those post-Corbet aches, while the nightlife is mostly downtown.

A stunning part of the world, we hugely recommend an excursion to Yellowstone National Park or, even better, our Yellowstone Ski Safari adds wildlife and powder meccas to your Jackson Hole ski holiday.

Every holiday is tailor-made, just for you.

Challenging, but with plenty to do. Mountain Guides were superb, and something we'd never come across before. Particularly enjoyed the free ~2hr guided tour of the mountain.

Snow and skiing fantastic (albeit bottom left hand side not skiable due to lack of snow). Really enjoyed it all; only comment it that guiding and ski hire and ski passes are very expensive; we combined our ski trip with two nights in Yellowstone - would absolutely recommend that in winter.

We had a great time at Jackson Hole. Preferring to ski in and ski out we stayed up in Teton Village which was perfect. We made the 1/2 hr journey by bus in to a Jackson a couple of times in the evenings which was fun. Food was quite good but a bit pricey for what it was. Helpful if you enjoy meat and lots of it!! The skiing was fantastic. Well organised, helpful staff in and around the resort. Highlights : fantastic days skiing with our family, the Iditarod Dog Sledding in the Teton National Forest and snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park. We were worried that being intermediate skiers, we might struggle but we were absolutely fine. Great snow helped. We had a fabulous family ski holiday.
