Steep couloirs, challenging groomers and breath-taking scenery - Jackson Hole is world-famous for good reason.

High in the Teton Mountains, this legendary ski area has scenic slopes and some of North America’s steepest inbound chutes, all well-linked by an impressive modern lift system.

For advanced skiers, the iconic tram whisks you up Rendezvous Mountain, where the challenging terrain includes the famous Corbet's Couloir. For serious powder days, neighbouring Grand Targhee is a must.

Beneath the slopes is the accommodation hub of Teton Village, which has a few restaurants and bars. For a bit more life, the authentic cowboy town of Jackson is a 20-minute shuttle away. Here, we usually gravitate towards the historic Silver Dollar après bar in The Wort Hotel, or the Cowboy Bar for live bands. You’ll also find day spas to ease those post-Corbet aches, while the nightlife is mostly downtown.

A stunning part of the world, we hugely recommend an excursion to Yellowstone National Park or, even better, our Yellowstone Ski Safari adds wildlife and powder meccas to your Jackson Hole ski holiday.

Every holiday is tailor-made, just for you.

Went out on the Sunday and it was soooo busy - such a surprise from Grand Targhee or Big Sky. However we then got lots of powder and so had a fantastic time on the Monday/Tuesday. Runs are very steep and technical and would be very difficult if no powder. Very few groomed runs and lots of moguls when we first arrived. Ideally suited to experienced skiers unless you know a storm is going to hit - then Snowboarders can fill their boots with the massive blacks. Best runs were the Hobacks. The town is great for Apres Ski although quite pricey (as all the resorts were) with lots of great bars and restaurants. Very busy place and commercial.

Fantastic.

Jackson Hole is a beautiful mid-western town full of cowboys, big trucks and the most picturesque scenery. Teton Village is around a 25 minute bus journey from JH, which gives you the time to appreciate the scenery and vast mountain range. The hill itself is geared up for the more intermediate / advanced rider. The terrain is steep and if you don't get the promised powder dump which makes this place a dream to ride, it can be tough for a beginner. once the powder drops, it's a fantastic day of riding deep and steep off piste and in the trees.
