Perched at the foot of the Grand Hirafu ski area and encircled by trees is MUWA Niseko, perfectly positioned to overlook the slopes on one side and the incredible Mt. Yotei on the other. It's easy to see why it was voted World's Best New Ski Hotel 2024 by the World Ski Awards.
Rooms are minimalist and neutrally decorated, combining wood and glass that partition areas to create a calming sense of space and light. In fact, this hotel excels in relaxation and wellness. You can enjoy your own private infinity onsen, plus spa treatments, wellness dining and activities such as nature immersion, meditation and yoga. It even runs an optional tailored wellness journey programme to suit your needs.
Some Double Rooms and King Suites also have private ski-in ski-out entrances, so you can glide fuss-free on and off the slopes at your leisure. The multi-bedroom suites and penthouses on the upper floors boast floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies, where you can take in the incredible panoramic views.
There are two dining locations on site. Firstly, Hito by Tacubo, an Italian restaurant serving food cooked on a wood-burning fire throughout the day using seasonal Hokkaido ingredients. Secondly, Sukiyaki Hiyama is a multi-Michelin award-winning restaurant that serves the finest dishes, from sushi to Kuroge Wagyu beef.
