4* The Green Leaf Niseko Village, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The hotel was quiet, comfortable with good views (our room looked onto the slopes). Breakfast had a wide spread of buffet options - we didn't eat there in the evening as we generally wanted to head out somewhere with a little more life, but it was there as a backup. Our room was very comfortable and had reasonable space - the bathroom was a little old/tired, but it all worked. The ski rental (on site) and lockers were very good, and the small shop onsite had basics if you needed them. If you want a quiet well looked after hotel, this is for you - if you want more life, the 10 minute bus to Hirafu (or Annapuri or Hanazono but there's limited options in each) will sort you out (we headed out for drinks / food options / watching a rails competition and fireworks). The staff were very helpful, and helped when our bill had an extra charge on it for ski rental - frustrating, but it got resolved within a day.

Comfortable and clean hotel with excellent Onsen facilities on site. The communal bar area was stylish and cosy. There was a good canteen with plenty of choice at breakfast. Ski in- ski out which was essential . A convenience shop and a ski rental also on site. Close to a small neat village with lovely restaurants/ Pharmacy / convenience store / ski hire and equipment shop. Excellent bus links to other resorts. Friendly knowledgeable staff. We really enjoyed our stay at Greenleaf Hotel.

The hotel was well located for ski in/out capability. It had good facilities and the rooms were fine with nice views, especially as we were on the top floor facing the mountain. Breakfast was a buffet that was OK but not great, had much better on the rest of our trip around Japan in other hotels. We didn’t eat dinner there as only had buffet option which I did not fancy. Hotel bar was rather quiet. The Onsen was really nice, especially the outdoor area and the spa had a very good masseuse. Overall was a good stay, especially as we had great snow, which is what we came for.

Very pleased with the room. Clean. Good view. Comfortable bed. Adequate bathroom and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable lounge and bar. Easy access to the ski lockers and slopes. Plentiful variety and quantity of food at breakfast. So overall I would rate it 4 out of 5. Unfortunately the outdoor Hosen was out of action and the indoor one was uncomfortably hot which was a disappointment.
