The hotel onsen is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. The outside bath (rotenburo) is traditional and said to be one of the most beautiful natural rock pools in the village. An outdoor thermal pool, also fed by a natural mineral spring, is exclusive to The Green Leaf guests. The spa has a range of treatments and massages available. A free shuttle runs between The Green Leaf, the Hilton and Hirafu, providing the opportunity to explore facilities, activities and restaurants outside of the hotel.

Really great hotel - very quiet but everything I needed was available and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would really recommend this accommodation. The onsite Onsen was superb - such a great way to spend an afternoon after the slopes! Not as lively for apres but I suspect some of the other areas and hotels would be more heavy apres vibes

Amazing situation for skiing. Literally step out the door, put your skis on and your off. Pick the right route home and you can almost ski into the boot room.

The hotel was quiet, comfortable with good views (our room looked onto the slopes). Breakfast had a wide spread of buffet options - we didn't eat there in the evening as we generally wanted to head out somewhere with a little more life, but it was there as a backup. Comfortable and clean hotel with excellent Onsen facilities on site. The communal bar area was stylish and cosy. There was a good canteen with plenty of choice at breakfast. Ski in- ski out which was essential . A convenience shop and a ski rental also on site. Great ski-in, ski-out hotel. Every member of staff was very helpful and friendly. The on-site onsen is beautiful - especially the outdoor onsen. Good selection at the breakfast buffet and a lovely bar. There isn't much within walking distance of the hotel but there are regular shuttle buses from right in front of the hotel and the hotel itself is very quiet and peaceful.

The hotel was well located for ski in/out capability. It had good facilities and the rooms were fine with nice views, especially as we were on the top floor facing the mountain. Breakfast was a buffet that was OK but not great, had much better on the rest of our trip around Japan in other hotels. We didn’t eat dinner there as only had buffet option which I did not fancy. Hotel bar was rather quiet…
