Powder, stunning National Parks, Las Vegas… The Utah Safari!
We offer an incredible selection of Ski Safaris, from the Rockies Loop in Canada to the sunshine and powder of California, but for me, the Utah and Las Vegas Safari is the jewel in the crown.
Utah boasts over 500" annually of the "Greatest Snow on Earth”, has incredible skiing and snowboarding resorts and its National Parks are simply phenomenal.
This unique Ski Safari allows you to sample it all. Fly into Salt Lake City and out of Las Vegas and, in addition to the incredible skiing, you have the opportunity to take a breathtaking journey through some of America's oldest and grandest National Parks, finished off with a stay in the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’ - Las Vegas.
Gemma Bowes from the Guardian recently experienced our Utah Ski Safari, and
dubbed it 'The Greatest Holiday in the World' -

Sample Itinerary
Our Safaris are completely flexible so you can choose to spend as much time skiing and exploring as you wish, and visit whichever combination of National Parks you'd like - please take a look at 'The Skiing' and 'The Road Trip' tabs above for further information on what you could include. To get the most out of this Safari we recommend a minimum of 10 – 14 nights. Below is our suggested breakdown of skiing and exploring time:
Days 1 - 7/10:
Ski Park City, Deer Valley and Canyons. Between these three great resorts there is a huge variety of terrain suitable for all levels, and to make things easy they are all skiable on one lift pass. Also one of North America's most iconic Mountains, Snowbird is only a 45 minute drive away in the Little Cottonwood Canyon, so if you like it steep and deep Snowbird is legendary - see 'The Skiing' tab for more info.
Remaining days:
The remaining days of your holiday can be split between visiting the National Parks and Las Vegas. If you only have 3 or 4 days left then we'd recommend visiting just a couple of National Parks such as Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park and spending a night in each followed by a night or two in Las Vegas. Bryce and Zion really highlight the vast geological difference from one park to another. For example at Bryce Canyon you are greeted by a stunning amphitheatre of giant pinnacles of red coloured rock, known as Hoodoos, whereas at Zion, 50 km south, gone are the Hoodoos, replaced by an immense 15 mile long, 800 meter deep Canyon carving its way through the reddish Navajo sandstone.
Whilst staying in the desert metropolis of Las Vegas you are spoilt for choice, you can be pampered in one of the many 5 star luxury hotels, take in a show or with what’s remaining of your holiday money, gamble the night away. You never know, your winnings could pay for a helicopter trip into the heart of the Grand Canyon, just one of the many spectacular options available on this ultimate Ski Safari...
If you have 14 + nights you could choose to stay in both Park City and Snowbird, for example, and then include even more National Parks, such as Arches and the Grand Canyon into your itinerary. The options are endless and we can advise you based on our experiences - please give us a call on 01273 224 060.
