Whistler
Whistler truly lives up to its reputation as the ultimate ski destination. The resort’s Peak 2 Peak Gondola is the world’s longest and highest gondola ride (4.4 kilometres long and 435 metres above the valley!) and connects Whistler’s two huge mountains. Skiers of all abilities and interests will love exploring wide-open bowls, tree-lined runs, and terrain parks tailored to every level.
Off the slopes, Whistler Village will welcome you with a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Enjoy excellent dining, shopping, and a lively après-ski scene, or try one of the many non-ski activities like snowmobiling, ziplining, or relaxing in a spa after a day of adventures. For evening entertainment, the Vallea Lumina is an immersive nighttime experience that displays magical coloured lights through an enchanted forest walk.
Vancouver
Tucked just behind Vancouver Island, which borders the North Pacific Ocean, Vancouver City is a lively and fascinating destination surrounded by water and pine forest. If you’re feeling energetic, cycle or stroll around Stanley Park’s seawall, kayak in False Creek, or walk across the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge.
To explore the heart of the city, wander through historic Gastown with its indie galleries, cosy cafés, and live music, or explore buzzing neighbourhoods packed with craft beer pubs and great shopping on Robson Street. And if you’re up for it, catch an ice hockey game and dive into Canada’s sporting passion.
