Colorado's oldest continually-run ski resort, Winter Park is a serious winter playground that’s relatively undiscovered by British skiers.

Close to Denver Airport, with fantastic snow and more than 3,000 acres of terrain ski holidays in Winter Park are surprisingly under the radar in the UK ski market. We don’t think it’ll be long before the secret gets out.

A resort for all abilities, seven ski territories are connected by trails and chairlifts. The moguls at Mary Jane are infamous throughout North America, while intermediates and beginners are equally well catered for. You can also ski at Steamboat  resort on the same lift pass.

At the base of the mountain, the cosy village is excellent value for money. Recent developments have added new bars, restaurants and shops but the atmosphere is low key - this isn’t a resort for party animals.

Winter Park was fabulous. Incredible variety of trails. Fantastic snow conditions. Very comfortable and convenient accommodation in Frasers Crossing. Only 1hour 40 minutes from Denver

Great resort for skiing and enough shops and restaurants if you include downtown Winter Park. We had a really good holiday as usual. The weather was unusually warm and that made it a different but enjoyable experience. Winter Park has had a poor season snow wise but all areas were still well covered

Was surprised how quiet the resort was on the slopes.
