Colorado's oldest continually-run ski resort, Winter Park is a serious winter playground that’s relatively undiscovered by British skiers.

Close to Denver Airport, with fantastic snow and more than 3,000 acres of terrain ski holidays in Winter Park are surprisingly under the radar in the UK ski market. We don’t think it’ll be long before the secret gets out.

Each of the resort's ‘seven territories’ provides a different experience, depending on the level of challenge you’re after. There’s everything from the infamous moguls at Mary Jane to the fabulous groomers on Winter Park’s front face. The dedicated beginners’ area is fantastic for kids, and to experience another resort you can ski at Steamboat on the same lift pass.

At the base of the mountain, the cosy village is excellent value for money. Recent developments have added new bars, restaurants and shops but the atmosphere is low key - this isn’t a resort for party animals.

Every holiday is tailor-made, just for you.

Great snow and suitable for all levels of skiers. A few changes from last year. A gondola instead of the main 4 man chair lift from the base. So much better if weather is really cold. New underground heating and new surface on main pathway which made it easier for walking as not slippy. Found food more expensive. In down town Winter Park some of the restaurants have closed but still enough places to eat.

Been going to Winter Park for years and really like it. The snow conditions have always been excellent when we go in February and there are plenty of runs to suit every level. Resort suits us as we are only there for a week and want to spend it skiing so not bothered about night life, as long as there are places to eat at night.

Good resort , great skiing, could do with more restaurants and bars, food shops at resort base.
