Ski/ boarding history
I had a few ski lessons and then decided to try snowboarding. Boarding felt more natural to me so I have stuck with this since. I may try skiing again but for now I need to polish my skills on a board!

Best mountain moment
On my first ever lesson in Voss, I had the pleasure of watching my friend wipe out his partner and the instructor. I'm disappointed I didn't get it on video but I did get a picture of them in a pile on the floor (no one was hurt).

Favourite ski safari
In March 2025 I was lucky enough to experience a version of the Lake Tahoe Ski Safari, this was a beautiful trip and it was great to experience the variation of resorts with each offering something different. The backdrop of the lake and mountains was unbeatable. I would highly recommend a stop at Sand Harbor.

Last resorts visited
Niseko and Rusutsu as part of our Flavours of Japan Ski & City Safari. Rusutsu was unlike anywhere I have boarded before. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone who loves powder, or even wants to try it for the first time. We also did a night in Osaka and Tokyo which was fantastic!

I don't have anything planned yet but I am looking forward to booking something soon!

Interesting fact
When I went on a zip wire in Croatia they didn't stop it correctly at the end, I rolled backwards and had to hang in the middle of the canyon until someone pulled themself out manually to rescue me.

Go to multiple resorts in one trip, it's amazing to experience how different they can be!
