One of the best resorts I've been to. A lovely town, great restaurants, great hotel, excellent and varied skiing. Very convenient and well run mountains. Great snow for the week we were there.

Superb free bus service between the four mountains and beyond

We were concerned looking at the snow reports - they'd had almost nothing in Jan, and even they were beginning to worry. If it had been anywhere else it would have been rubbish, but a combination of the altitude and the money they throw at grooming made it just fine - so we got a couple of days to ski ourselves in and then it started snowing and never stopped.

For $100 for the two of you, you can spend an hour on a groomer. This is fab. We pitched up by the gondola and a groomer was reversing down the hill to get us; we then spent an hour with a charming guy learning and watching and taking some photos. Really, really cool. And when we got back to our room after dinner, there on the side was a box with a metal model of a grooming machine! This is actual…

Excellent resort for general skiing. Resort staff were very helpful with a great queue organisation when needed. Conditions were excellent with good, clean and efficient facilities on the mountain. Recommend a visit.

All the skiing you could wish for on Aspen's four mountains. Plenty of dining options to suit every pocket. Very good free bus service between Aspen and the 4 mountains. Buy your lift pass through Ski Safari and save a fortune

Fantastic Aspen ski area and Snowmass was the favourite. Only downside with using Aspen airport is that there are cancellations of flights due to bad weather. Apparently this is fairly frequent and did affect us.
