4th visit to Snowmass and still ticks all the boxes, with added bonus of 68” fresh snow during this 2 week stay! Large area, long runs & great choice of terrain. Uncrowded pistes, especially mid week, are great confidence boosters. Amazing choice of on-mountain restaurants with quality food. Staff friendly and helpful throughout resort. Very quiet in evening which suits us but may disappoint some.

From perfectly groomed cruising runs to steep and deep double black diamonds the four Aspen mountains have it all. The ski school is excellent but book in advance if you want to save on resort prices.

Really good ski area with added benefit of being able to pop along to Aspen, Buttermilk and Highlands on free shuttlebus.

Four ski areas and endless, varied terrain and excellent snow - its hard to beat. Aspen is still a lovely, picturesque and characterful town: great to walk around and a stunning modern art gallery. There are loads of restaurants but we self-catered as we know, from previous experience, that eating out is amazing but expensive. Compared to 10 years ago we found prices in the supermarkets very high …

Fantastic, great conditions, no crowds, plenty of pancake days! Snowmass Village, all ski shops not much else. Aspen 30 mins away worth a visit.

Village still under construction but getting better all the time. Superb skiing. The best lift system with very few lines. Excellent ski hire. Lacks bars and restaurants with character and Aspen is too far to travel for dinner/drinks every evening.

Some nice easy black runs at Snowmass and Buttermilk to boost self confidence. Efficient free bus service to other ski areas. Do not miss the Aspen thrift shop for ski gear. Aspen fire station museum worth a visit. Best dining experience was the Westin where the price of single malts was negotiable and cheap - 16yr Lagavulin was $11 for an approximately triple measure.

Aspen Snowmass has plenty of options for skiing over 4 mountains. We stayed at Snowmass Base Camp and skied there most days. We went to Buttermilk Mountain for one day and thoroughly enjoyed the intermediate runs and scenery. Dining on the mountain was a pleasant surprise and provided a good selection of quality lunch options. Lift lines were small and staff very friendly.

Even before I had reached the peak on my first chair lift of the day, even before I had made my very first turn, I could see this place was offering something distinctly different in terms of quality. The vast majority of Snowmass’s trails only come in one of three sizes; wide, extra wide and super wide. Whether it is the sparsely dotted trees you can use a ‘slalom’ markers for your route, or the …

Fantastic mountain. Great snow conditions and skiing. Pistes very well groomed and so long and wide. Small new village with a few restaurants.
