Favourite Ski Safari
I was fortunate enough to embark on the Colorado Ski Safari in March 2019 combining Aspen Snowmass, Vail, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Beaver Creek. Ski Safaris are so much more than just a ski holiday they are an adventure that you will never forget.
Best mountain moment
All mountain moments are great, but my personal favourite is stomping my first double backflip on skis.
Ski/ boarding history
I'm reasonably new to the world of skiing (compared to some of the team at Ski Safari). My first time on the mountain was in 2016 when I decided to do a season in Tignes, France. I started off snowboarding which was fun but as soon as I put on a pair of skis and realised how much faster you could go I never looked back. My favourite place to be is up in the snow park and my ideal day would involve lapping the park and dialling in my tricks.
Last resorts visited
Niseko, Japan was an awesome trip with the team. The powder there is something every keen skier should experience.
Next trip
Nothing arranged yet but watch this space. I would love to do the Big Mountain Ski Safari combining Big Sky and Jackson Hole with a drive through the Yellowstone National Park.
Interesting fact
Number 1 UK Amateur Mountain Bike Dirt Jumper 2010! I also used to be a senior sous chef for a 2 rosette restaurant in Sussex and have previously worked for Marco Pierre White.
Top ski trip recommendation
Always push yourself, it’s such an incredible feeling accomplishing something you didn’t think you could do.
