On Beaver Creek ski holidays, unrivalled service comes as standard - expect hot chocolate served in the lift queues and fresh cookies at the end of each ski day. If you don’t mind the price tag, this is a fantastic resort for couples and families seeking a first-class holiday.

High-speed quads whisk you up the mountain where the immaculate blues are often groomed twice a day. The children's ski school is first-class, and there are green runs at both the top and bottom of the mountain. For challenging terrain, our favourite areas are the Stone Creek chutes and the bumps on Grouse Mountain.

The pedestrianised village oozes luxury, with its heated walkways and escalators. Shops, après bars and top-end top restaurants cluster around the ice-rink but for serious nightlife, you’ll need to catch the shuttle to Vail, which is included in your ski pass along with Breckenridge and Keystone.

Customer Reviews

What our customers say about Beaver Creek.

This is a stunning resort. Very classy but in a relaxed unassuming way. Beautiful pistes and support staff couldn’t do enough to help you enjoy the resort (including free cookies at the end of the day)! Will definitely return!

Absolutely brilliant, faultless resort facilities but very, very expensive.

Beaver Creek is an experience. From the gated entrance, to the chefs handing out free cookies, the escalators to the snow front and the multi-million condos, it really has to be seen to be believed. The skiing was excellent, but I don't think we would ever opt to stay there as it is a bit like Disneyland, but we would definitely come back as day trippers. But only with the Epic pass - the day l…

Fantastic resort, snow is awesome and the runs out of this world but you do need a car to get down the valley to enjoy the more reasonably priced restaurants of which there are plenty within 10 minutes drive and access to the larger supermarkets if staying in a condo.

Guy Boardman - Beaver Creek
Beautiful, 'fully serviced', feels quite authentic even though it was designed/built in one go as an alpine copy. Best of what is American - welcome / genuine warmth . . . something the French struggle with. Great facilities; heated walkways, ice rink, arts/theatre, free hot chocolate on-mountain - free cookies delivered to you by the resident chefs in the afternoon, little tissue boxes at the bas…

Simply a special place. You get what you pay for; luxury treatment without any fuss or drama. Worth the extra £ and travel time - if you can make it for 10 days or more. Free hot chocolate on the slopes @ 11! Tissue boxes by every ski lift and good manners from everyone. And the skiing? Wow, ski Everest in vertical feet every day, if you want!

We visited Beaver Creek in January, staying in the Westin in Avon. The Westin is a great base, with easy access to Beaver Creek (direct gondola) and Vail (short bus ride from outside the Hotel). The skiing in both resorts is excellent: we expected to find BC a bit restricted and spend most of our time in Vail, but actually found a lot to do and shared our time between them. We were there over a ho…

How to Save Thousands on your North American Ski Holiday
Skiing in North America has an unjust reputation for being expensive based on high in-season prices for lift tickets and accommodation. But savvy skiers and snowboarders who book before December can save over £2,500pp on a 10 night holiday and can ski for as little as £32 per day. Ski Safari has run the numbers to find the biggest savings across North American resorts.
