Easy going hotel with excellent staff. Bedroom good and bed very comfy.
Breakfasts did the job in getting ready for the slopes.
Onsen absolutely superb after a day on the slopes. What an experience!

The Green Leaf is a nice hotel located away from the hustle and bustle of the main village. It has slope-side access, its own rental/hire shop, lockers for your equipment and a great onsen! The hotel staff is very nice and work hard to make your holiday enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our stay as it was huge and varied. Green Leaf is genuinely ski in/out but not ideally placed to get up the mountain and early morning queues are busy with a major lift bottleneck. Hotel is very pleasant with good value breakfast.

It was fine. Had a great onsen and very good buffet breakfast. Slightly out of the way, requiring a bus to get to Grand Hirafu, where most of the restaurants are located.

Very comfortable rooms and great facilities, staff are extremely helpful, bar isn't the cheapest and a little far from the main town but the free shuttle service makes moving around the resort very easy.

Ski to door and a short link to the main gondola. We enjoyed our stay. Would have been nice if evening meal in the restaurant had been more consistent for quality - being a buffet style meal there was choice, but some evenings were better than others. On the other hand, there were plenty of options outside the hotel.

Comfortable accommodation. Excellent Onsen and v. Handy boot room at the bottom of the slopes. Bar food was predominantly Western which was a shame.

Rooms very good and it was very convenient for the slopes. The buffet breakfast was also excellent and the onset was very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The reason why score it good rather than excellent is that the restaurant and bar area were not particularly inviting.
