A great resort with varied terrain: a lot of the publicity if for families but there is plenty for adults to enjoy for at least a few days. There were no queues to speak of and runs were generally blissfully quiet. The mountain is easy to navigate and to move around (no flat bits for boarders!). Very good food especially at Black Diamond and Sessions. Lots of Australians!

A wonderful holiday, great place, people and fantastic ski in/out accommodation! Superb for families, great snow and skiing. Nice runs.

GREAT RESORT BUT CONSEQUENTLY VERY BUSY (TOTALLY EXPECTED CHRISTMAS WEEK!)
WEATHER PREVENTED US FROM SKIING TWO WHOLE DAYS, WHICH WAS INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING.

This is the first time that we have returned to a resort. Family skiing works so well at Big White from ski school to Happy Valley free hot chocolate and popcorn for the children at the end of he day while grown ups can enjoys some apreski!

Lovely skiing even though the locals told us it was a bad year for snow. Seemed a lot to us! Lots of places to eat out.

Big White - excellent skiing spread over a wide area, some lift queues. larger centre with a good number of facilities

Short of fresh snow, and sometimes very cold (-25). Still plenty to go at, easier skiing for intermediates. But also some nasty gnarly bits if you want it. Whole resort a lot cheaper than Sun Peaks, what we expected from Canada. One of our party did Dog Sleigh - rated excellent. Most bars have food theme nights, wings Wednesday was our choice.

A small resort, family orientated but also great for couples, everything very central. Great to ski from different parts of the mountain without loads of narrow green paths. Very friendly with lots of Mountain Hosts around to share there local knowledge.

Big White was a super resort!! Everything is well organised, well coordinated and everyone is very helpful and welcoming. The only points of note are 1. The weather - there can be a lot of fog/low level cloud which can make visibility a challenge; and 2. It is rather busy during Christmas and New Year. The food in the restaurants and bars is good and not too expensive and the market is reasonably …
