Big White ski holidays are extremely child-friendly, and the diverse ski area receives lots of fluffy white powder.

British Columbia’s largest ski area, Big White strives to be the world’s best family resort. The whole set-up aims to make your holiday as easy as possible, with kids’ clubs, crèches and après activities all provided. Alongside its family appeal, this is also a great resort for all abilities.

The snow is all-natural, and there’s plenty of it - Big White is an excellent place to try powder skiing for the first time. While the kids are having lessons, parents can enjoy the backcountry or ski everything from steeps to rolling cruisers.

The modern village has been designed for maximum convenience. Restaurants serve tasty food at sensible prices and Snowshoe Sam’s is our bar of choice, while Happy Valley Adventure Park offers everything from tubing and skating to an ice-climbing tower.

There’s more than enough to keep you busy in Big White, or you could explore further by adding Sun Peaks and Silver Star to an Okanagan Explorer Ski Safari.

Every holiday is tailor-made, just for you.

Amazing village with something for everyone. Everything is so organised and all the people are really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Fab snow, excellent skiing, could perhaps have better signs on the mountain, runs tend to merge a lot.

12/02/2016 Julie Fieldhouse

We had an amazing amount of snow while we were there, 23cm of the lightest snow one night then another 3 or 4 days where we had between 6-13cm. The runs were well groomed when necessary but not over groomed when fresh snow had fallen. Excellent resort for playing in trees, whatever your level of skiing. Nice walks from the happy valley area and nordic and snow shoe trail pass was included in downhill pass. The grocery store in the village was well stocked and we catered easily for ourselves. We went on the ice hockey trip from Big White which was excellent value and a great night out. Bakery downstairs in the main resort building was fantastic.

Blue skies, empty slopes, deep powder; perfect spring skiing conditions.
