Fantastic resort, felt like a locals resort. All well set up and so easy to walk around. Lifts were set up well, no ques. People very friendly. Good shop for groceries. A little bit limited with restaurants though. And a shame there was no mountain stops at all.

Most condos are ski-in ski-out. The Inn at Big White is tricky for this as roads must be crossed. Ski repair excellent, Dizzy's boot shop excellent, piste information boards very good at the top of each lift. Green runs down from every lift, tree skiing excellent, ungroomed runs and blacks challenging and good, Black Forest Lodge and Sessions good for food, Happy Valley Lodge and Main Village ok.

Brilliant skiing and snow combined with minimal lift lines even in peak oeriods makes for happy family of skiers.

Big White was a fantastic option for us as it provided a wide range of runs to suit all abilities as well as access to other fun activities such as tubing, snowmobiling and horse-drawn sleigh rides. The layout of the resort was brilliant with everything being within a short walk. Outside of weekends the resort was incredibly quiet both in the village and on the mountain. Big White has many things going for it and for families and slightly more advanced skiers it is probably more suited than it was to us. We felt that it was lacking in atmosphere, particularly in the apres ski environment (nothing to rival either Dusty's in Whistler, or Bottoms in Sun Peaks) and did not have that 'Canadian' feel to it.

Resort run well with helpful and friendly people. Lifts queues are virtually non existent and the pistes are quiet. Great runs through the glades and trees. Pistes regularly groomed and in great condition. Small mini market which is well stocked. Variety of eating places.
