Itinerary

Trip Details

You'll have a total of six days on the mountain. A warm-up day to find your legs and then five days of consecutive powder-specific coaching from the Academy.

The Camp will help you build and develop your skiing ability and confidence, improving your skiing on all terrain but with an emphasis on powder skiing. The Academy team will be filming all skiers throughout the Camp, with video analysis sessions in the evenings. We will be aiming for six skiers per group.

The Japan Powder Camp caters for advanced intermediate to expert skiers (Level 3 to Level 6 on the Academy system). If you're unsure of your level, we advise speaking to the Academy directly on 0041 795 304549.

The Accommodation

Your home for the week will be the ski-in ski-out 4* The Green Leaf in a great location at the base of the Niseko Village slopes. Facilities and services include a restaurant, bar, onsen and spa, and rental shop. The Niseko Village restaurants are a 10 minute walk away, and Hirafu Village can be reached by a regular shuttle service in 15 minutes.

The hotel's onsen (natural hot spring) is one of best ways to recover your legs after a day on the mountain and ease your muscles ready to do it all again the next day.

The Warren Smith Ski Academy

The Warren Smith Ski Academy brings together some of the sport's top professionals to create a unique coaching team that actually guarantees ski technique solutions. This is achieved by evolving traditional methods of ski coaching and adding two additional layers; ski biomechanics and ski physiology. The combination of ski technique, ski biomechanics and ski physiology is rapidly becoming known as the new wave in ski coaching and is the only way to ensure 100% results.

This unlocks all your classic ski problems and opens the door to performance and efficient skiing. It is the only true way to progress from the ski technique plateaus and get success on moguls, steeps and powder. The Academy team coaches and develops many different levels of skier, ranging from early intermediate recreational skiers, to instructors and professional World Cup athletes.
