There are 13 major resorts spread across the province, from Whistler on the west coast to Kicking Horse and Fernie a stone's throw from Alberta in the east - the biggest challenge is deciding where to go.

Flying in and out of Vancouver or Calgary, each 12 to 14-night trip delivers big terrain, deep snow and a warm Canadian welcome. Okanagan Explorer Ski Safari
Big White • SilverStar • Sun Peaks
Explore some of Canada’s best all-ability terrain, with family-friendly slopes, perfect powder and adventurous après activities across three resorts - Big White, SilverStar and Sun Peaks.
The Okanagan Valley has some of British Columbia’s best all-ability skiing, and we’ve based our Okanagan Explorer Ski Safari around three of its top resorts - Big White, Sun Peaks and SilverStar. Perfect for mixed groups or families, you can ski a huge variety of terrain in all three, while the drives between them are simple and scenic.
All three resorts feature snow-covered ski-through villages and an abundance of terrain. We'd happily spend two weeks in any of them, but three to four days in each gives you enough time to properly explore the mountains while also trying activities like snowshoeing, cross-country and tubing.

RED • Whitewater
Secure the ultimate bragging rights that come with skiing lesser-known resorts, dividing your time between two unique and independent hidden gems - RED and Whitewater.
With relatively simple but spectacular drives, your trip begins in the USA - flying into Spokane Airport before driving across the border into Canada. RED and Whitewater are a must for fans of steep and deep, but there's more to them than just the terrain.
We've nicknamed this ski safari 'Off the B(C)eaten Track' because that's exactly where you're heading. RED and Whitewater are fairly unique for large North American resorts in that they're both still fiercely independent, perfect if you're looking for an authentic Canadian winter adventure. We recommend staying in the nearby towns of Rossland (for RED) and Nelson (for Whitewater), where you'll rub elbows at the bar with genuine locals who have been skiing there their whole lives.

Kootenay Rockies Loop Ski Safari

An all-abilities variation of our flexible Rockies Loop Ski Safari, this is a pure ski adventure. Driving a big loop through the Canadian Rockies, you’ll stop off at three lesser-visited resorts - Panorama, Kimberley and Fernie.
If you're feeling adventurous but have mixed abilities in your group, this is the ski safari for you. Each of the three resorts has a fantastic mix of terrain for first-timers and off-piste experts alike. The green runs are long, wide and gentle, the blues are infinite, and the black runs range from cruisy intermediate groomers up to challenging chutes and bowls.
We love the variation on this itinerary as each resort feels very different, and you'll even have the chance to spend a night in Banff to break up the first drive from Calgary airport.
