Okanagan Explorer

The Okanagan Valley has been famous for producing Canada's best wines for some time. But in the last few years its now full-bodied ski resorts have been creeping into the limelight. Each has its own distinctive character, both in their ski terrain and the style and atmosphere of their villages.

The resorts of Sun Peaks, Big White, Silver Star and Apex are within easy reach of each other and with flights from the UK via either Calgary or Vancouver to the area's 2 airports - Kamloops and Kelowna - it is easily accessed from the UK. You can hire a car at either airport, but if you don't want to drive this is a Ski Safari you can do based on transfers. It is also a great area for families looking to do a Ski Safari.

Transfers between Sun Peaks and Big White and Sun Peaks and Silver Star run on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Those between Big White and Silver Star via Kelowna Airport go every day. It is possible to arrange shuttles to and from either Big White or Silver Star and Apex via Kelowna Airport.
