My family and I stayed at the Limelight Hotel in Snowmass, from 13-21 Apr 19. I couldn't believe that this hotel had only just opened in mid Dec 18. All of the staff I spoke with really wanted to be there and they were all good at their jobs. Chad Bennett the Operations Director had clearly hit the jackpot with the team and has hit all the right notes since; it was a pleasure to tell him that. From front of house to the kitchen staff and cleaning staff' we found all pleasant and professional. My children took a particular shine to Maureen on front of house, who was lovely and very friendly. The room was very clean, and cleaned to a good standard daily. The room location was excellent on the ground floor close to the ski valet and convenient to the gym and spa area. My children loved the climbing wall and the staff in there were so very friendly (hats off to Andrew for getting my boys involved; they've both been on a climbing wall since their return to the UK). Having the kids area by the restaurant really added to it. It was excellent for us as it allowed the kids to do their thing whilst us parents caught up from a great day over a cool, happy hour beer, either in the bar area or outside in the fresh air by the outdoor fires, (which added a certain charm when it got dark in the evenings). Tom on the Ents desk was absolutely fantastic. On more than one occasion, he gave recommendations or made reservations for us, all of which were excellent. Would we return? We absolutely plan to. I have no doubt that the ski conditions and how quiet the resort was, added significantly to our experience, however the Limelight hotel in Snowmass is well situated, well run and very well staffed to give an excellent family experience.
