The Village at Northstar is an assortment of self-catering ski-in ski-out residences at the heart of the base area, steps from the lifts and numerous bars and restaurants.
The main Northstar base area - The Village at Northstar - resembles a small alpine town centre, complete with restaurants, bars, shops, an ice rink and six residences named Catamount, Great Bear, Big Horn, Iron Horse North, Iron Horse South and One Village.
These ski-in ski-out apartments range in size from studios to four bedrooms. Each benefits from a kitchenette or full kitchen, cosy fireplaces, at least one king-sized bed and either a patio or balcony. Some residences also have jetted tubs and a private washer and dryer. It's worth noting that décor and layouts may vary because each apartment is individually owned.
After a long day skiing, you can relax in the outdoor hot tubs or re-energise in the fitness centre. Then, when you're ready to venture out, you are steps away from the shops, restaurants, ski rentals and the lifts. The Big Springs Express Gondola and Village Express Chair depart from the One Village building and will whisk you up to the resort centre at the base of Mt Pluto. When you're finished skiing for the day, you can ski down almost to the door of the ski lockers.
