For the perfect hideaway, tucked just off the beaten path is Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe, located just outside the heart of Truckee. The hotel is secluded by pine trees and, where possible, has been built using natural materials to blend into the surrounding environment, allowing for a more tranquil experience.
The hotel offers a variety of spacious and neutrally decorated rooms that can accommodate up to four adults, all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, bath robes, a yoga mat, and a minibar.
The on-site restaurant Stella Truckee serves breakfast daily and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. If you want to venture out, there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby in town to pick from. Or you might instead prefer sitting around the fire pit with a cup of hot chocolate or soaking in the hot tub - there are plenty of ways to relax after a long day on the slopes.
Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe is north of Lake Tahoe and Northstar California, and close to Lake Donner. To get to Northstar from Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe, it’s under a 10-minute drive to the resort’s car park or alternatively, a shuttle service runs from Truckee to Northstar all week. Further afield are the world-class slopes of Palisades Tahoe if you want to expand your skiing options, only a 20-minute drive south.
