Breckenridge was a fantastic place to stay - 2 hours from Denver airport, lots of places to ski nearby on the epic pass, excellent accommodation and close to the lifts. Fantastic skiing for all abilities, nice easy runs up to the scary ones if you prefer.Well groomed pistes, efficient lifts and friendly attendants. Very pretty town with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Tends to get busy at wee…

I would recommend Breckenridge as a resort. The ski runs were excellent, well kept with plenty of choice for all abilities. the town had all the facilities you would need. The Beaver Run complex / accommodation was excellent, clean and tidy.

We love Breckenridge, the snow is always excellent and the town friendly and welcoming. It is extremely high so the altitude may affect you but the snow is very dry as a result. There is plenty of skiing of different varieties and Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone and A Basin are all within reach.

One of my favourites. The resort is like a home from home.

Breckenridge is the total package. Great choice of accommodation serviced by a frequent and efficient shuttle bus service if you require it. Great skiing for all levels with quick lift lines even at peak times. Peak 6 not for everyone and I would not recommend it for skiers just venturing onto blue runs. Peak 7 a much better option. Great eating out to suit all budgets.

Love this town. Lots of favourite runs. Only problem is the long lift lines at weekends at base of Peak 7.

Great skiing, wide slopes, powder snow. Many choices of eateries in the town. Friendly people. We had an interesting day looking round some of the gold mining museum houses in the town, the properties are manned by very knowledgeable volunteers. Locals are extremely proud of their town and rightly so, it's lovely.

The ski area is always fantastic and at this time of year there were few queues aside from the inevitable Saturday throng. We particularly enjoy the fact that Breckenridge is a historic working town, rather than a purpose built resort. There is a great variety of places to eat, a good supermarket and the town has a lively buzz (after about 3pm!). One of our party was snowshoeing instead of skiing,…
