Great all round resort. Plenty of skiing for all abilities. Only drawback is that the 4 ski areas are not interconnected and so you have to use the bus transportation system, but this is free, frequent and v efficient. The town itself is very compact but has a wide variety of shops - excelling in designer and art shops - and such a variety of eating options that you are spoiled for choice.

Very expensive to eat or drink on or off the slopes, and very little life in the village after the lifts closed, but otherwise absolutely first class

Snowmass is a great resort for all standards of skier for total beginner to expert. You can also ski Aspen and Aspen Highlands which are great if you are advanced intermediate but not for weaker skiers but Buttermilk is easy for beginners. Will definitely go back.

Great resort - with a choice of four mountains and over 100 restaurants, a little on the pricey side if you are tempted by the more up-market restaurants and shops!

The ski school is wel…

Variety of skiing across Aspen, Snowmass and Highlands is amongst the best we've experienced. The resort had a 3-meter snow base when we stayed and ski conditions were excellent. Great off-piste terrain - book early if interested in fresh-powder tours on Snowcat (before arriving). Friendly and helpful locals, always eager to strike up a casual conversation and share advice about where to ski, eat …

The resort was great - every one was so friendly and nice. I had a great time and it won't be long until I am there again I hope.
