Relatively small and family-run, it has a cosy atmosphere yet with modern, comfortable rooms. All the rooms have a balcony and some even boast views of the Matterhorn. The restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine and half board is an option.
The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the railway station, and next to that is the start of the Gornergrat mountain railway. The Sunnegga funicular is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise/Klein Matterhorn lift is a 15 minute walk or you can use the ski bus.
