Friendly resort, with a very efficient lift service and a long season with good snow.

Beautiful town with plentiful skiing, not too busy even on the busiest days. Friendly and accommodating, wide pistes and friendly mountain restaurants.

Biggest resort in Scandinavia, lots of on and off piste options. Distances and restaurants felt most like the Alps (but still much quieter without the crowded lift queues!)

Great location with quiet slopes, even during the Easter break and lots of friendly locals always making you feel welcome.

Fabulous resort. Great variation of runs and facilities. Very friendly environment. Some excellent restaurants and after ski bars. Definitely recommend.

Åre is a great resort, lots of variety and runs. It was quite cold in Feb (more than Norway) and a tiny niggle was the hotel is a little bit away from some of these runs (not the beginners are) so getting back for the last lift so you have to be quite organised.

Excellent snow, excellent skiers and all round an excellent place to spend a week.

We have spent many years skiing in the Alp but everything about Are, Sweden is better. The people, the facilities and the snow. We were made to feel like part of the family even considering the hotel is quite big.

Amazing resort. Really lucky with the weather, most amazing snow ever.
