Thank you... it was fabulous!! Still on a high despite returning to the humdrum. Åre is truly stunning and with a great variety of skiing that suited all three of us. The resort itself has some fabulous restaurants with great cuisine; just a pity we couldn't try them all. We are definitely planning a return trip within the next couple of years. A very friendly and well organised ski area. The skiing area was exactly as described in all the descriptions with a good mix of chair and drag lifts. There was very little queueing and a good range of mountain eateries were available.

Are is great for family skiing, lots of good snow and pisted runs and fun for the children. Good coffee and cake stops and plenty of good hot choc. No more expensive up the mountain than being in a French resort and we found restaurant prices very reasonable for pizza!

Amazing. Would definitely go back as soon as we can. Large enough to have fun but small enough to avoid long lift queues and have a relaxing holiday.

A good week that we both enjoyed. It was a pity we couldn't ski all runs due to the snow, but what was available provided good skiing for us. The resort was nice and eating out in the evenings also good.

Just wanted to let you know that your trip to Are just to book our restaurant was greatly appreciated and in fact we liked Vin Baren so much we chose it as the venue for our last evening meal in Are. The holiday was great, fantastic suite, superb food in the restaurants, great location just a shame it was so warm -1 to 3. Excellent resort for beginners/intermediates that will benefit greatly from the three chairlifts planned for next season.

Have just got back from a weeks skiing in Are and thought it was an amazing resort, feels like you are out in the wilderness! The conditions were superb, plenty of snow at the beginning of the week followed by blue skies. Being an intermediate skier I found there were plenty of runs to keep me going for the week. At night time there is plenty for everyone out there from quiet bars and restaurants …
