Just wanted to let you know that your trip to Are just to book our restaurant was greatly appreciated and in fact we liked Vin Baren so much we chose it as the venue for our last evening meal in Are. The holiday was great, fantastic suite, superb food in the restaurants, great location just a shame it was so warm -1 to 3. Now it's time to get back to the real world and earn enough money to pay for it! Thank you for all your help it is very much appreciated. All the best for 2014.

Have just got back from a weeks skiing in Are and thought it was an amazing resort, feels like you are out in the wilderness! The conditions were superb, plenty of snow at the beginning of the week followed by blue skies. Being an intermediate skier I found there were plenty of runs to keep me going for the week. At night time there is plenty for everyone out there from quiet bars and restaurants to lively nightclubs. Would definitely return.

We've just got back from a brilliant week in Are. A completely different experience from the Alps or North America - like the North West Highlands of Scotland with decent snow and friendly locals! Stunning scenery and brilliant snow conditions. Despite it being half term we didn't see a lift queue all week. We often had the piste to ourselves and whilst there are quite a few T bar lifts,the fact that it was so quiet meant that this didn't in reality slow us down at all. The skiing was varied with excellent, empty carving runs at Duved, some decent steep blacks and lots of off piste as well as lots of fun in the trees. The weather was a good mix of snow flurries and sunshine. The temperature got down to -20, but wasn't a problem. The Brunkulla apartments were like an Ikea catalogue, much bigger than any French ski apartment and well placed for both the slopes and town. The town itself was attractive with a range of stylish shops as well the usual ski shops. Lots of restaurants, although not a great range of vegetarian food other than the usual pizza. The cost of alcohol in bars and restaurants was high, but you expect that in Sweden. We can't wait to go back...
