Skistarshop Are Torg was excellent for ski hire and ski pass, very helpful and friendly.

We loved our hotel, the location was great, but again only if you can ski down on reds other wise you have to take a fonicular which comes every 20 min.
The Food in Are its lovely but expensive compare with the Alpes but in my opinion better quality. Alcohol quite expensive due to Taxes.
All in all we liked Are and we might go back. Its a very relax way to ski, slopes very wide and good snow.

Perfect for our newly confident skiing children and plenty to do for us in the 2 hour slot they had lessons. On the last day all six of us (aged 5 - 44) skied from one end of the resort to the other!

Åre is very pretty. Skiing is a bit spread out and most runs were a bit short, but a wide range of runs for all abilities and good mix of restaurants on the slopes. Restaurants in the town were mostly excellent, although wine is very expensive. Swedish people were so welcoming. It was great that everyone could speak English.

Good choice of restaurants and ski hire stores. Great "cup cake" skiing and our guide on the first morning couldn't have been better

We had a fabulous time in Åre. Everything fell into place - the weather, the snow, the food, the accommodation and the people. 10 out of 10. It was even better than when we went to Japan skiing! (booked with you).

Good variety of runs for a range of abilities with some good snow parks and ski cross. The ski school was very good as well with some lovely restaurants on the mountain sides.

Excellent but expensive as most of Sweden probably is. However very well stocked supermarket over the road if you self cater.
