This resort is great for families, and intermediate skiers. The slopes are wide and varied, with tree-lined runs and above the trees with beautiful views over the frozen lake. The conditions were excellent when we went (Feb half term) and nowhere was too busy. I would highly recommend this resort.

Beautiful resort. Lots of choice of pistes. Super skiing for children especially. Busy in restaurants and at lifts but it was New Year. Fabulous restaurants in town.

Pretty resort. Good funicular transport. Not very efficient ski lifts. Good to have ski hire shop on site. Slow queues at ski lifts.

Friends got engaged at the top of the mountain!! Couldn't be a prettier place. We stayed at the hotel Tott, which was brilliant, the rooms had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful. Spa was an added lush touch. the restaurant was brilliant with the setting & views. Food was good. Ski in & out was brilliant even for a new skier to get down to the other lifts for blue/green runs. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, exceptional food. Having re-visited after approx 15 years we realised that it was more of a beginner resort than we remembered but it was good that we got to ski so late in the season and it meant we also went guiding which was a new experience for some of us in the group.

Easy to use and facilities of a high standard. Friendly lifties and ski patrol and not over zealous. Good pistes and great kids areas. Only problem was high winds kept us in Bjornen area as link closed and too small an area for 3 days.

Are Bjornen was perfect for our first ski trip with our 6 year old son. We stayed with friends at Copperhill, a beautiful mountain lodge in stunning scenery with a great spa, amazing breakfasts, and completely family friendly with fantastic staff. Our skistar ski intructor(Marcus) was fantastic with the kids and it was great to pick up ski passes and ski hire from the ski star store at copperhill …

Slopes were very accessible and no queues for the lifts. the town and restaurants were in walking distance and there was a good choice.
