Norway is well known for gentle terrain which provides the perfect setting for beginners and intermediates, but this ski safari has its focus purely on exploring the lesser-skied and more challenging terrain that lies along the spine of the country.

Known for its fjords firstly, this area is also a spectacular playground for experienced skiers. The locals have earned so many winter Olympic medals that if they were a country, they would have more medals per capita than anywhere else on the planet.

There is some really exciting off-piste to be found - as discovered by Fall-Line magazine back in 2017. Due to the highly accessible nature of the terrain, it’s a great way to warm up for the ski touring to come later on. Some of the off-piste terrain hits 45 degrees and retains excellent powder conditions even late into the season - the lifts in Myrkdalen are open right up to 01 May.

"A stunning combination of scenery and terrain allowing experienced skiers to explore Norway with professional mountain guides."
