The historic Swiss-style Fleischer’s Hotel is located beside the famous Bergen railway line, and enjoys superb panoramic views across the lake.
Fleischer’s Hotel has remained in the same family since it was first built in 1864 and later renovated in 1889, in the then-popular Swiss style we still see today. It offers a traditional atmosphere with a selection of rooms from different periods that reflect its rich heritage. Over the generations, the hotel has undergone upgrades, extensions and improvements, including a new Olafsfløyen hotel wing with more modern-style rooms.
The hotel faces the pretty waters of Vangsvatnet, beside the Bergen railway line and a mountainous backdrop. It prides itself on sourcing high-quality local ingredients to serve in traditional Norwegian and international dishes.
Fleischer’s Hotel is a member of De Historiske, which is Norway's historic hotels group comprising of well-run and long-established hotels, all of which have their own character and style.
All guests receive free access to the wellness area, which includes a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym.
