Ever since it was built, the hotel has remained in the same family with improvements and updates made across the generations. The hotel is a member of De Historiske, which is Norway's historic hotels group comprising of well-run and long-established hotels all of which have their own character and style. Fleischer's Hotel prides itself in particular on sourcing and serving high quality local cuisine along with international dishes. It also offers a traditional atmosphere with a selection of rooms from different periods reflecting its rich heritage.
