Just thought I'd drop you an e-mail to let you know that we had an absolutely fantastic time! Kids loved it and me and Kumar were pretty much back to the standard that we were 10 years ago (the instructor,James, took us down the bottom third of a black on fri!). So thanks a lot for all your recommendations and advice - we'll definitely go back! Absolutely fantastic resort - so convenient with kids…

Excellent recommendation to think outside the box and go to a different resort and excellent value for money. Resort has not cottoned on to the commercial side of tourism which is good and bad.

Fagerasen is a small satellite resort of Trysil. It has a small central street with one pub, one cafe, one restaurant, one ski hire and one ski shop.

Had a very enjoyable stay in Trysil. Snow very good, food very good however be prepared to spend a lot of money. Drinks typically three times the price of UK. It all adds up.

The thing that made our holiday so special here was the excellence of the teaching. I did a beginners class and the instructors were amazing and my children loved their teachers so much they cried on the last day. The instructors were professional, patient and entertaining and made us all achieve our goals (getting down the mountain in once piece). Their English was excellent and the whole teachin…
