The resort was excellent. Skiing was of a very high standard with a good mixture of runs. The greens weren't too slow which saved us poling ourselves along. Reds and blacks were a joy to ski. Black run 28 was our favourite! Will definitely be back and hopefully soon. Norway is a stunningly beautiful country.

Great variety of runs and options (perhaps not for the advanced who might get bored quite quickly). Good variety of food, particularly for fussy children and a great ski school.

Trysil is a quiet resort which suits us. It is good for families. There is limited choice of restaurants so self-catering is best but we were very happy with our apartment.

Trysil is an excellent resort if you like well maintained, well groomed runs and don't mind jumping on the occasional button or T-bar lift alongside the several chair lifts. Ski-out involved a short button lift up to the first chair, but this is no great problem at all, so it shouldn't put anyone off. What a hidden little gem, i have skied most of Europe and Canada over the years and have various memories of resorts that were good.
Trysil definately stands out among them. Not much going on in the evenings but it was early season and fairly expensive for booze so the supermarket is worth a visit in town. Overall the locals are very friendly and a lovely place to spend a week.

The resort was lovely, the people very friendly. Yes, a bit on the pricey side but as long as you know that beforehand and do a bit of research into costs (and remember you are on holiday so you will likely spend more) then there is nothing stopping you.

On the whole great holiday and thanks for bottle of Prosecco on return. Went with Ski Safari to Jackson Hole years ago and that was great, as was this holilday. You are more go to company for skiing holidays.

Trysil is a very friendly family resort with a good range of pistes. On one side of the mountain the tree-lined pistes provide shelter from bad weather whilst the other side of the mountain is open and allows more opportunities for off-piste skiing. Although the skiing day is slightly shorter than in the Alps, some of the main pistes are illuminated for night skiing 3 times a week which more tha…
