It's a pretty resort and the skiing level was great for the family some of whom hadn't skied before. Instructors were all excellent as well.

Great access to the slopes which were just perfect for beginners. Nice wide slopes and not too busy either.

The resort is great, particularly if you have young kids or if you want to learn to ski. Stayed at the Radisson Blu (not the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort). The walk to ski school is straightforward, with a rolling carpet taking up much of the journey, so the kids found that fun. If not needing to do ski school, it is skiing from the door. Great for what we wanted - age 9 to 70 and varying levels of skill with half of us very experienced skiers. The snow was good bearing in mind it was end of season. We had a day of snow which was nice. There was plenty of snow even in a season not blessed with large amounts.

Loved the Trysil resort, a perfect place for our 3 kids aged 6, 8 and 11 to learn to ski. They all loved it, especially Valle the snowman! Challenging enough for adults returning to the slopes too. Nice and quiet, no real queuing required. Can be blustery at top of mountain but other times views and scenery from the higher points are amazing!

Amazing holiday, the ski instructors spoke perfect English and were really friendly and fun. Great snow, lovely scenery, not too busy, great for all levels of skiers.

The resort was fantastic - a perfect set up for beginners with a great set of nursery runs. There was a good value buffet at a restaurant right in the centre - ideal for feeding hungry children straight out of ski school.

Overall facilities really good both on the mountain and in resort, very well organised. Excellent lift system, no queues even when the locals arrive at the weekend due to the 6 man high speed lifts in all the key places.

Good for the improving skier, would benefit from more food choices.
