Lovely and quiet. Great snow and plenty of empty runs.

Just returned from Trysil, still relatively a well kept secret, and as lovely as we remember it from when we skied there the first time round, 2 years ago. Long, wide slopes in a great country and friendly people.

4th visit to this resort!! We like the wide pistes which aren't too busy even in school holidays. Good selection of runs (for daring kids and a scenic green runs for mum!!) Fab restaurant at Knetsettra. Fab views.

Trysil was a fabulous resort with a multitude of different levels of runs to choose from, plenty of fresh snow and a great ski school.

Two blue-sky days at the end of the week made for super "warm" days on the top of the hil…

I enjoyed the skiing at Trysil, which had lots of wide and fairly quiet tree-lined runs. The snow conditions were excellent. Although the queues for the lifts could be quite lengthy, the slopes were generally fairly quiet, especially those towards Hoggega and Trysil Høyfellsenter. It was a good place for children to learn to ski; the group sizes were a bit larger than I would have liked, but my so…
