Perfect for our family holiday plans as a resort. A little too quiet though in the off peak period - quite a lot of pistes, lifts, facilities, cafes etc not open. Snow good but lack of available lifts and pistes did spoil it a little for some of the skiiers in the party.

Good for beginners and intermediates.

Very accommodating staff at ski school, the snow conditions weren't great by the end of the day, but it was very mild which didn't help!

We had a fantastic time. There was plenty of snow and blue skies all week. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our second family ski holiday. Trysil has varied terrain which is ideal for beginners and intermediates but also provides some challenges for more expert skiers.

The resort was incredibly family friendly, the ski instructors were excellent with the children and made sure that the whole week was hugely enjoyable for everyone. The resort was incredibly well laid out and staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The transfer from Oslo was not long either, which suited us perfectly.

Trysil is perfect for all abilities and is especially good for families.

Perfect for what we were looking for.

Great for beginners - compact enough that we could take our beginner kids back to the apartment for lunch and be back on the slopes in 5 mins. Short lift queues and uncrowded slopes. Fantastic ski school which had our kids skiing red runs by the end of the week. Great that you could navigate all around the mountain on easy slopes.

Quiet, well laid out, varied skiing, family friendly.
