The perfect holiday. Flights, transfer, hotel, snow, and resort had something for all levels of skier. A refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of some of the larger resorts in mainstream Europe. The resort had skiing for all levels. A compact resort, but appears bigger than the piste map shows. Lots of off piste within the tree lined pistes. The snow conditions were excellent, with 3 days of snowfall on our arrival and about 500 mm of powder to play in. If the weather is very bad the tree-lined pistes offer great protection and allow skiing o continue in all but the worst conditions. Apres ski is not the most vibrant mid week but things liven up at the weekend. Our hotel, the Radisson Blu at the Tourist center was our base. Generally a well laid out and compact resort, everything close by and within walking distance. Just a very nice place to ski, laid back, with no hastle. Great for children and grown up alike.

A great resort for all of our party, skiers and non-skiers. Transfer almost three hours from airport but top quality coaches and drivers. Plenty of ski-shuttle and local buses. with timetables co-ordinated to help connections during the skiing day. Good snow, but a little disappointing weather with low cloud and poor visibility during the holiday (can't be helped). Very good resort facilities, superb Spa with access discounts for hotel/apartment residents. Very friendly staff, all with excellent local knowledge and impeccable English.

Norway and the resort of Trysil was recommended to us by Helen at Ski Safari. It turned out to be an ideal resort for myself as a beginner ski and my partner who is more experienced. Trysil is a beautiful, picturesque resort, well worth the transfer time of around 2.5 hours. The resort of Trysil was ideal for myself being new to skiing, both for it being quite quiet during the week and for the mix of runs available. My partner, who is an advanced skier, also enjoyed the resort and it had enough challenging runs for him to use. There is a small selection of shops and restaurants in the main centre, however our hotel the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort was well equipped so we stayed in that vicinity mostly. Although at weekend the resort got a little more crowded, it was never overly so and we look forward to returning here again next year.

Stayed in a 2 bed apartment within the Mountain Resort Residence Radisson Blu. Ski in ski out, ski hire by hotel and given ski lockers. A bakery on site for fresh pastries, bread. Buffet breakfast, dinner available with an enormous selection to choose from. Apres ski bar restaurant on site. Buses are complimentary and go to the supermarket. Lovely mountain restaurants to choose from. Great wi fi. Overall an amazing holiday. Slopes were not crowded, only time we had to wait for the lift was at the end of the day to get back and on the weekend at the base of Trysil but it moved quickly.
