Very family-friendly resort, as promised. Good range of pistes from greens through to blacks, and even one expert black piste (although we didn't take the children down that one). There are still a few t-bar lifts (not a family-favourite) but through clever map reading and planning, we managed to avoid them and stick to the chairlifts. All pistes were well-managed and we particularly liked the nos…

Superb family ski resort with an excellent hotel and facilities. Great snow conditions and variety of runs for all levels - quiet and no queues. Our favourite place to ski!

The skiing is absolutely wonderful for families with young children with wide, empty slopes. The snow conditions stay good until mid-April so Easter skiing is perfect. And ski school is fantastic with amazing teachers who are energetic and enthusiastic.

The resort was perfect for a family holiday. We skied with our 12 year old son and although it's not a huge resort we found all the slopes accessible for intermediate skiers and there was plenty of variety for a whole week. We love the resort great for all standards - easy to ski out / in and great lifts and runs. Expensive to eat and quality was not great but with the apartment we could do some self catering which helped.

Best place we have ever skied by far - so beautiful, uncrowded, perfect conditions... We felt extremely lucky! Gorgeous, unspoilt resort with beautiful runs through the trees and a lovely, uncrowded atmosphere.

Great mix of slopes for beginners to experts, the slopes are set amongst pine forests making for very picturesque skiing. There's little 'Apres Ski' outside of the hotel however hotels like the Radisson Blu make up for this. While we were there late March the snow was good and no queues for the lifts.

Verity Tuckwood - Trysil - 14 Feb 2020

Lots of wide open, uncrowded cruisy red runs as well as fun runs through the trees. Expensive but we expected that, and being on the half board option meant that we didn't need to spend much during th…
