Everything went well, lots of snow. My ski instructor (Maria Theander) was brilliant, she took me to some places to X-country which I wouldn't have been able to visit without her.

Excellent ski area for beginners and intermediates although a bit restricted for advanced skiers

Every aspect ran smoothly resulting in enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Skistar very effective, lessons for kids especially were well organised and effective, the instructors were friendly, keen, and fun. Comfortable hotel, great food. Loads of varied spacious runs.

Good ski area (although not extensive) with a variety of runs and nice wide pistes in most cases as well as some interesting ones through the trees. Would recommend ski goggles for low light though as mine were vital!

We really recommend this for families.
The children love the night skiing, and all the fun pistes with jumps and ramps on, and the timed slalom area.

Loved the variety of green routes on the side of the mountain that we were staying at. It was perfect for us as beginners. Children enjoyed the lessons as did we.

Trysil offers a good range of skiing for a family group. Ski school was excellent and Henry and Isabella made very excellent progress in a happy and constructive atmosphere. Although we were in Trysil over half-term and it was much busier that we had experienced on our previous two visits it all worked very well, albeit we did have a few longer queues when the S1 lift was closed due to adverse con…

Brilliant ski resort, real mix of runs to suit all levels in our group, and although weather cloudy and occasionally snowy and foggy we could always find some runs with good visibility on one or other side of the mountain or at a different altitude.
