Andrea West - Trysil
Trysil is an amazing resort with lots of options of slopes for all levels. It has a great vibe, groomed slopes, helpful staff and top instructors at the ski school... and of course, a hot chocolate to die for in La Pasteria @turistcenter.

Great resort, good to be able to ski out of resort.

Hotel- Radisson Blu was great. Different restaurants to eat in, relaxing communal spaces. Skiing great for families. Would be amazing off piste further into the season. Snow on piste was good. Good night skiing. Picturesque, beautiful sunsets. Wide slopes with minimal people on them. Good, friendly cafes on the mountain.

Potentially good ski area, but not much open early in the season - just enough for a mellow family holiday. I certainly enjoyed the skiing. The resort itself was a bit soul-less, but then most of the bars were closed due to Covid restrictions. Cross country skiing turned out to be rather limited for beginners as well.

Trysil is an all-round great resort for families with loads of challenging runs, but equally lots of beautiful rolling tree-lined, picture postcard runs to relax on. This was our third time in Trysil - it is always fantastic (and very cold in December we discovered!!). Best time to go in our opinion would be March/April if you like longer days and warmer temperatures (but not snow-melting temps li…

The resort was a good entry level to skiing, the facilities were to a high standard and the resort itself is suitable for families.

Sue Clugston - Trysil
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Trysil is genuinely ski in ski out. It’s got great facilities including a pool with a climbing wall and a delightful bar area with a fire. The restaurant with a buffet was perfect for the different diets of our party. Only a few runs were open in mid-December when we visited but these were long and varied enough blue and red runs to keep us interested and challenged, incl…

Trysil has it all. From blacks to green runs. Plenty for all skill levels. Plenty of tree runs. Fantastic for beginners and children. Will be bringing back grandchildren to leant to ski here as facilities are so great. Sälen airport is the most brilliant airport again with good children’s facilities, only 40 mins away from resort. Can’t fault it. We will definitely be back. Loved every minute.
