Great resort with a variety of skiing and a decent sized town within walking distance of the Radisson Blu Hotel.

First time in Norway to ski - had to cancel a trip to Canada for covid/family reasons so decided on a shorter break to Norway. We were delighted with the resort and it was a bit of a hidden gem for us. Easy ski in/ski out. Good snow whilst we were out at the start of January. Comfortable transfers from the airport approx 2.5hrs. We will definetly return.

Great resort with lots of skiing to go at. There hadn't been a lot of snow before we arrived, but there were still enough runs and lifts open to make it hugely enjoyable and a couple of overnight snowfalls while we there made conditions even better.

Hotel- Radisson Blu was great. Different restaurants to eat in, relaxing communal spaces. Skiing great for families. Would be amazing off piste further into the season. Snow on piste was good. Good night skiing. Picturesque, beautiful sunsets. Wide slopes with minimal people on them. Good, friendly cafes on the mountain.

Trysil is an amazing resort with lots of options of slopes for all levels. It has a great vibe, groomed slopes, helpful staff and top instructors at the ski school... and of course, a hot chocolate to die for in La Pasteria @turistcenter.

Potentially good ski area, but not much open early in the season - just enough for a mellow family holiday. I certainly enjoyed the skiing. The resort itself was a bit soul-less, but then most of the bars were closed due to Covid restrictions. Cross country skiing turned out to be rather limited for beginners as well.

The resort was a good entry level to skiing, the facilities were to a high standard and the resort itself is suitable for families.
