Great resort for families and skiers of all levels - though slightly more limited for very good skiers. Very easy to navigate around the mountain. Lift queues aren't too bad. Ski school / instruction is top rate.

A great little resort for families. A first rate ski school for the kids and lots of fun runs for skiers and snowboarders. We hope to keep returning.

The resort is fantastic. Ski in ski out. Small. The night skiing is great. It could do with another chair lift just to reduce the queues at the main hub.

Loved the holiday. We weren't sure what to expect from Norway and it was fantastic! The resort is perfect for families with more than enough runs for all levels. With beautiful long, wide runs. The organisation in the ski hire shop was amazing- we have never been kitted out in less than 20mins! Really organised. Night skiing is available and other activities in the resort. The snow is terrific a…

A good resort for beginner and intermediate skiers. Wide pistes and quiet.

Our third time here with 2 children (9 and 6 now). Great ski school for the kids with lots of green and blue runs all easily accessible from the main area and Radisson Blu hotel. Some more advanced skiing but has more of a family feel than provision for the off-piste and high octane enthusiast. Staff and service everywhere is polite and friendly.

Great intermediate skiing. Really well set up, no queues, unbelievably convenient. Loved it!

What a lovely resort. Almost a fusion of North American and European skiing. We knew before we went that the advanced skiing would be limited but due to poor conditions the advanced options were few and far between. However, as a family or beginner to intermediate resort it was excellent.

The free ski bus was really useful to get to other parts of the system when lifts were shut or members of the party struggled with drags/t-bars. Good base of snow but little falling whilst we were there. Canons and piste bashers did their best with what was available. Black of constant grade, not the flat, steep, flat of some resorts - there’s even a nice green to get back to the residences!

Very gentle slopes around Hoyfellsenteret area, some slightly more difficult runs Turistsenteret, not as much terrain obviously as some larger resorts but great for a week especially with beginners. In January some windy and very cold days and top of mountain and some lifts/runs closed due to ice or wind. Signposting of runs etc was not very good on the mountain we found and they could also do wit…
