Nice compact resort with well-groomed pistes and rarely too busy. Not the liveliest or most varied, which applies to the hospitality venues too, but a great place for a week of skiing.

Snow was good and well groomed. Skiers more polite and pistes much less busy than in Alps; seemed to be mainly just us and 2 English school groups on Tuesday after Easter on pistes.
Downsides: not a very extensive piste area for the seasoned skier (but we knew that so incorporated only 3 days into a tour of Norway), black runs weren't really black more blue / red. Nothing else to do in the town i…

Great location beautiful drive to the hotel and resort. Would recommend the private transfer. Fantastic ski in ski out location and great slopes for families.
Only downside is the best rooms that over look the runs has the night club underneath so the noise is a problem at night.

Very quiet slopes when we went-beautifully groomed. Hotel fab with lovely food to match. Everyone very helpful. Something a bit different to Europe which is just what we needed.

Ski in and out was brilliant - loads of snow - guides/instructors brilliant. No queue's at the lifts and plenty of runs for the beginner skier.

Excellent resort, really easy for all to ski and kids went off on their own. Only 1 place to meet them at the bottom which was good.

Intermediate skiers welcome - Excellent food and staff. Clean and great location right on the slopes. Efficient ski hire shop and friendly ski school English speaking. Comfortable hotel and rooms.

Good modern resort hotel was excelent with very good quality food. The skiing was much better and extensive than we had imagined and although we had a rental car to allow us to go to Voss we never used it and skiied at Myrkdalen for the entire week. No queues for lifts during the week and nobody on the slopes. The first day we skiied all day and did not ski the same run twice. With options for…

Excellent hotel ski resort with direct access to slopes with cross country skiing and walking nearby. A lovely location to celebrate Christmas week.
