Great resort, on the smaller side compared to our trips to the alps but absolutely stunning! They hadn't had a large amount of snow before we arrived but they still managed to have a few runs open and were clearly working hard in the resort as more and more runs/lifts opened while we were there. Would like to revisit so we can hopefully experience more of what the resort has to offer!

A very small resort - really just the hotel and ski rental - but charming and with excellent simple runs. Ideal for old knees!

Myrkdalen is a lovely resort and hotel. It is worth knowing that there are no other restaurants, bars or shops other than the hotel complex and mountain cafe.

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We loved the food, which was excellent, although vegetarian options were limited. We enjoyed the skiing and extra options for our stay; sledging the mountain was a fun filled must do experience.

A hidden gem in a quieter, less touristy part of Norway. The resort is small but well equiped, with plenty of places to eat/drink by the slopes. The resort was so quiet mon-fri with a noticable uptick in people over the weekend. We got great snow with zero queues- a combination that is hard to find! Note- this is not a party resort (at least not in low season).

Myrkdalen resort is a compact resort located in a beautiful area. Everything you need to support you to skiing or snowboard is located close by. I would consider returning to Myrkdalen another time.

Lovely cafes and bar. Ski hire shop opposite the hotel. Very convenient. No town to stroll around but has everything you need. Slopes were great. Both chair lifts were open although not all the runs were, but the resort did a great job with the snow cannons. Quite a few Tbar drag lifts which takes some practice as a beginner snowboarder :)

Myrkdalen is a great resort for beginners and intermediates. It is small and friendly and had enough to keep us occupied for the week.

Small but high class resort and amazing hotel. Great sports bar, ski rental shop, cafes and restaurants. Skiing, although limited due to snowfall, was excellent. Brilliantly maintained slopes and communal areas. Attention to detail second class.
