The hotel was clean and functional. Food was very good, better than you would expect in a half board package. Ski locker room a bit basic with no boot warmers. We enjoyed both the hotel bar and the Sports bar across from the hotel, with some competitive darts and bowling games keeping us entertained. A great resort, with remote and wild scenery . No half term lift queues! Lots of interesting terrain and off piste skiing. A fabulous resort for kids to “hone” skills and start to experience some deep snow skiing. We were treated to two days of Myrkdalen powder and had a couple of days at Voss to keep the week interesting.

We loved Myrkdalen it was perfect for our family ski holiday. Suitable for a range of abilities. The snow was good and it was really peaceful and relaxing.

Purpose built. We loved the slopes, which were very well kept, and the ski in and out was wonderful hotel.

Skied for many years, Europe and North America. Been a few years since our last trip to Canada. Myrkdalen was a fantastic resort to revisit the sport so it really suited our purpose. We started skiing in 1982 and have never seen such wonderful scenery. The resort is small, so you are mainly in the hotel which is aslo fantastic. Food was brilliant.

Small area but with some excellent pistes that were well groomed. Resort was quiet and allowed my wife to regain her confidence without being harassed by other skiers and snowboarders.

Although Myrkdalen is only a small resort, there is everything you could possibly need. The runs are varied with lovely easy greens and blues, reds to build confidence, and a couple of more challenging blacks. The best thing was the way the slopes are groomed made for an interesting run each and every time.
