In our opinion, the accessible off-piste is its biggest trump card, especially if you’re new to ungroomed skiing - the forgiving terrain helps to build confidence, and it’s easy to nip back onto the pistes when you need a break.
Relatively compact, learners love it here too, as you can ski on a continuous green run from the highest point to the base area. All slopes lead down to the same point, where there’s a kids’ zone and dedicated learning area - perfect for beginners to gain confidence. For more slopes (that are noticeably quiet), your lift pass also includes nearby Solheisen.
Off the slopes, the Mountain Village is relatively quiet on weekdays. The après bars and clubs tend to come to life on the weekends when you can expect live music and dancing at several spots, as well as a vibrant atmosphere in the restaurants.
