Lovely resort, excellent slopes and snow. Very quiet with hardly any queuing for lifts. Only a few cafes and restaurants were open during the week.

Really enjoyed Hafjell overall. The gondola and chair at the base are very efficient and there are 2 easy tows for kids at the base with more easy options to choose from up top. It’s a beautiful setting, definitely worth a visit. The only inconvenience was the distance between the ski base area and the village itself (for groceries) as they weren’t adjacent and it was too far and too cold for youn…

A quiet, small town, the ski area was perfect for us, compact and no queues. Ski area was a few minutes walk from the hotel but the lockers at the base of the slopes were well worth having.

Ski area is fine. Ski school was fantastic. There is no particular resort or town to speak of. Aside from the hotel, there were two restaurants to go to and that was pretty much it. There is a Spa shop where you can buy drinks that are slightly less extortionately priced than elsewhere.

I really loved Hajfell as I thought it a geat destination for beginner and intermediate boarding. I'd highly recommend for those with small children as even at the top of the mountain it was really safe with big wide pistes. Never got ridiculously busy and we were there at Feb half term. Definitely coming back to Norway again.

The skiing at Hafjell was great for my two children age 9 and 12. Both intermediate skiers. The instructors were brilliant and really progressed their technique. Plenty of skiing at this level for a week and impressed with the resorts lift system.

This resort as excellent friendly family skiing facilities for all grade of skier. The atmosphere on the slopes was welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of slopes to escape the crowds though when the wind comes watch out the cable car and chair lift don't close. The blue run all the way down gets very busy. Sadly the snow on the lower slopes was very thin but the report staff were doing their best to…

Very quiet resort with few lift queues even at half term. Relatively small skiing area so would be good as a two centre holiday.
