A nice pedestrian-friendly village with a supermarket and plenty of choice of eating places.

Family friendly resort that we thoroughly recommend. Plenty of runs and snow for a week's holiday and not horribly busy at half term. A short stretchy walk from hotel with lockers close the the lift for our equipment. A good choice of restaurants for lunch and hot chocs and Woody's for some apres ski. Sealed our desire to go back to Norway :)

Hafjell has a good range of slopes, but if the gondola and new 360 chair lift are closed, as was the case for us, then runs for beginners or less confident skiers are severely limited. Additionally when the gondola was closed, the queue for the much older and slower chair were horrendous. I think an upgrade to modern high speed chair would be a major advantage.

Hafjell is a great resort with a range of slopes for all abilities. Once you've conquered the downhill, there are miles of cross country tracks to explore. And with Kvitfell just next door, there're even more runs to complete.

Both Hafjell and Kvitfjell are lovely Norwegian resorts but neither are quite big enough to occupy a couple of teenagers for a full week. Realising they are only a short transfer appart - Genius!

A small resort good snow but number of runs limited.Fine for 4 days or a family with children but insufficient for expert skiers. No apres ski that we found but not bothered as after good evening meal happy to stay in hotel.Easy walk to ski lift and good service for ski hire.

Relaxing skiing. Reasonable range of restaurants. Good ski school tuition. A good destination for alpine skiing in Norway.

Lovely quiet ski resort with very nice, well linked easy pistes. Some more challenging runs towards the bottom of the mountain. Good restaurants and bars. Not too much going on in the way of apres ski though.

Ideal for a shorter break, 3/4 days skiing. Very family friendly.

Excellent snow conditions, friendly, efficient and great choice of food.
